چکیده مقاله

This paper proposes a novel method for studying transmission and generation expansion planning considering load ability limit of power system. Artificial neural network (ANN) technique is employed to evaluate load ability limit of the power system because of its sensitivity characteristic. Power system restructuring and separation of decision-making organizations of transmission and generation expansion causes the coordination between generation and transmission companies to be as a crucial issue. Furthermore, voltage stability is one of the indicators of power system security level. Therefore, the load pattern of a conventional six-bus power system is improved in this paper and after that, the most appropriate bus for increasing load is determined using sensitivity characteristic of ANN.
